For the casting valve parts, stainless steel and ductile (spheroidal graphite) cast iron are two of the most widely used alloys because the ducitle cast iron have better anti-rust performance and the stainless steel have nice performance in heat resistance and corrosion resistance. They are used for producing:
- Butterfly and Ball Valve Bodies (Ductile Cast Iron or Cast Stainless Steel),
- Butterfly Valve Discs (Stainless Steel or Ductile Iron),
- Valve Seats (Cast Iron or Cast Stainless Steel)
- Centrifugal Pump Bodies and Covers (SS or Ductile Iron)
- Pump Impellers and Covers (Stainless Steel, Duplex Stainless Steel)
- Pump Bearing Housings (Grey Cast Iron or Alloy Steel)
