Low alloy cast steel refers to alloy cast steel with a carbon content of less than 0.45% and a total content of other alloying elements not exceeding 5%. Low alloy cast steel has high strength, good toughness and hardenability. Low alloy cast steel generally contains alloying elements such as manganese, chromium, copper, nickel, molybdenum, and vanadium. They have greater impact toughness and can obtain better mechanical properties through heat treatment. The corrosion resistance and wear resistance of low alloy cast steel are better than carbon steel, which can reduce the weight of parts and increase service life.
